Meet Len—the heart behind St. Andrews Heating & Cooling. Len’s HVAC journey began in the U.S. Navy, where he mastered boiler systems aboard aircraft carriers. After serving his country, he brought that same precision and commitment to civilian life, spending 16 years as a technician before launching St. Andrews Heating & Cooling (10 years ago Now) with his wife, Sarah—an HVAC pro in her own right with 11 years of industry experience at the time. Driven by a love for family, community, and a couple of loyal pups, Len built the business on the values he learned in the military: discipline, integrity, and a passion for service. Those principles became the foundation of our S.H.I.E.L.D. Promise—and the reason so many homeowners trust St. Andrews for their comfort.

She’s not just behind the scenes—Sarah is hands-on with our customer experience, B2B relationships, business development and the details that make our team feel more like family. Her blend of warmth and sharp business acumen is part of what sets St. Andrews apart. A proud wife, community advocate, and animal lover, Sarah is passionate about building a company that truly serves. Together with Len, she helped shape the S.H.I.E.L.D. Promise as more than a motto—it’s a mission.

Serving as our Service Manager, John leads the service team with the kind of confidence and clarity that only comes from decades in the field. Known for being the guy who always has a solution, he’s a trusted go-to for both customers and coworkers. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence help keep our service standards sky-high. From training technicians to troubleshooting the trickiest systems, John brings unmatched craftsmanship, leadership, and a healthy dose of humor to every job. But don’t let the work boots fool you—after hours, John swaps tools for tuxes, hitting the ballroom floor with his leading lady for competitive dance competitions. Affectionately known as “The Ginja Ninja,” Josh Leonard brings precision, dedication, and just the right amount of mischief to the St. Andrews team. With a strong background in rooftop units and central air systems, Ging is our go-to guy for everything from tricky repairs to perfecting our parts inventory. A true technician at heart, Ging tackles every job with care and focus—whether he’s on a roof, under a unit, or double-checking every last screw in our stockroom. His attention to detail and steady professionalism make him a favorite among customers and coworkers alike. Outside of work, Ging is full of surprises: he’s a horseback rider, snowmobiler, and avid gamer who enjoys downtime with his girlfriend and their dog. Equal parts laid-back and laser-focused, he’s one of a kind—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Josiah brings a strong work ethic, a hands-on mindset, and a genuine curiosity that drives him to keep learning. He’s the kind of team member who’s always ready to jump in, ask the right questions, and grow with every job. From understanding system performance to developing his technical skills, he’s steadily building a solid foundation in the HVAC world. Around the shop, Josiah is known for his positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed. He approaches every project with precision, ensuring systems are not only running efficiently, but reliably for the long haul. Around the team, Ken is respected for his experience, problem-solving ability, and commitment to doing things the right way. As the unofficial “Chief Comfort Officer,” Nick is a big believer in preventative maintenance (and the occasional treat). He reminds us that the little things like clean filters and regular tune-ups make all the difference. Around the shop, Nick keeps morale high, standards higher, and tails wagging. Nick is an avid collector of tennis balls- If you ever see him on a truck or a t-shirt, just know—you’re in good hands.

Rex serves as the Executive Assistant to both Sarah and Len, playing a critical role in keeping St. Andrews Heating & Cooling running smoothly behind the scenes. With years of experience supporting multiple businesses, Rex brings structure, organization, and consistency to daily operations. From managing calendars and handling email and SMS communication to overseeing CRM systems and lead tracking, Rex ensures nothing slips through the cracks. His attention to detail and proactive approach help keep both the team and customer experience running at a high level. Rex is also instrumental in building and maintaining internal systems—creating SOPs, refining workflows, sending invoices, tracking payments, and managing contracts to keep operations aligned and efficient. Beyond operations, Rex brings a creative edge to the team with skills in graphic design, basic website editing, and video editing—supporting both the brand and marketing efforts. When he’s not working, Rex enjoys relaxing at home with his lovely wife, son, and their dog.
